7.0/10

I was excited about the central location of the hotel, right in the middle of town, near all the pubs and nightlife. The rooms, however, were a bit disappointing. They were noisy due to traffic, small, and shabby, not quite worth the price I paid. The karaoke music until midnight was a bit much, adding to the less-than-ideal experience.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were small, noisy from traffic, and the furnishings were aging. Not the value for money I expected.
Service
9.0
The service was outstanding, even though they were facing challenges. From check-in to cleaning staff, everyone was nice and accommodating.
Location

The hotel is central in Falkirk, right in the heart of town with friendly staff. A nice bar on the ground floor, and a convenient walk to the railway station for a short stay.
Dining
6.0
I wished for a better dining experience, especially for my paid breakfast. There were some disappointments in the breakfast options.
Facilities

The hotel offers housekeeping, laundry services, a welcome drink, and pet amenities. Despite facing challenges, the staff managed well.

6.8/10

The hotel is more like a pub in the town center with clean rooms and friendly staff, although some improvements could be made in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The central location is fantastic for exploring nearby attractions, but the dining experience had some disappointments. Overall, it offers value for money considering the convenient location.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were small, dirty, and uncomfortable, not meeting my cleanliness expectations. They were sparsely furnished with aging furniture.
Service
9.0
The service was exceptional, with friendly staff available for various needs.
Location

7.4/10

The hotel offers very clean rooms and decent food and drink options, but the noise from the karaoke room across the street was too much for the price paid. Staying in an adjoining property was convenient and spacious.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Service
7.0
The service was excellent, although there were issues with disabled access due to the old building.
Location
9.0
The location is perfect for town center activities and attractions like the Falkirk Circle Boat Lift and the Kelpies, but noise from a nearby nightclub can be bothersome on Saturdays.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was a bit hit and miss, with breakfast being underwhelming.
Facilities

The facilities provided were good overall.
